My mission is to connect with the world through my own unique sense of music, dance and visual artistry.

I have been singing and writing music, through the instrumentation of the keyboard, since I was sixteen.

I have performed professionally in pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants and private functions for a number of years, while developing my skills as a singer/songwriter and music programmer.

I have received airplay and magazine press for these albums. I have worked with many musicians the highlight of which being Barry Sullivan (Goose) from the Renee Gayer Band and Chain, who worked closely with me on a single I wrote called ‘Footsteps’.

In regard to my albums, I have received much feedback over the years, from representatives of major record labels and independent label owners as well as the general public. As a result my music has evolved into a sound I feel is unique, exciting and most importantly original yet commercially viable.

I have a self-produced recorded album of my original music titled ‘Simone Townsend’ which I have had on sale at Rocking Horse Records, Mask Music, (Brisbane) and at gigs.

I have a recorded album of original music under the title ‘Lotus’, an originals duo, touring in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, Queensland and Melbourne, Victoria on my album ‘Simone Townsend’ and as Lotus.

I have also recorded an album under the title of ‘Luna Kandro’, a relaxation CD which has been used as soundtrack material in a Yoga DVD and Meditation CD and which has been sold independently in new age stores.
